I bought a 2020 Passport last summer with around 29,000 miles on it. It's now sitting at 37,000. It was Honda Certified, so the dealership extended the powertrain warranty an extra year or two.
My brother-in-law is an ASE-certified mechanic and does all my maintenance in his home shop. He's thorough and uses OEM parts and fluids, but of course, he doesn't provide receipts.
I'm wondering if I ever need to file a warranty claim, will Honda require service receipts for routine things like oil, transmission, and diff fluid changes? I keep a log of dates and mileage, but is that enough?
Appreciate any advice from everyone here. Thanks in advance.
