Can I DIY B16 service?

I got a 2023 Passport, first ever vehicle I can really call my own. That said, I still have a lot to learn about this. So anyway, a maintenance minder popped up for a B16 service code recently and I've been getting quotes from the dealer and some local shops. The cost is somewhere from $250 to over $400, and honestly, that seems a bit steep for what it is.

I checked and the B16 service includes an oil change, tire rotation, and a rear differential fluid change. I'm pretty comfortable with doing the oil change and tire rotation myself, but I've never done a rear diff fluid change. Has anyone tackled this by themselves? How difficult is it and are there special tools needed? Is it worth the hassle and potential for error, or should I have the dealer do it?

I'm curious to hear about your experiences and what you ended up paying if you went to a shop. Thanks!

B16 is oil, tire rotation, and rear diff fluid. You can DIY oil and tires, but the diff needs proper fluid and torque wrench. It is not hard, just messy, if you are not sure, the dealer's safer.
