SVCM Controller

I had it installed but removed it eventually. there's not much improvement from what i remember. but go ahead and try it for yourself. the results might be different..

Has anyone put an SVCM controller in a 2022 Honda Passport? Got any tips? Should I do it or skip it?
Dropped an SVCM in my 2022 passport, it smooths out the ride, stops the VCM from messing with the engine, and super easy to install (just plug it into the OBDII port), but I noticed I lost a bit of MPG, but the peace of mind and drivability gains make up for it, I guess, at least that's what i tell myself

technically, cylinder deactivation is about running on less cylinders, meaning less fule is used during cruising, but it can cause other problems, so it's a double edged sword

I read and hear many people hating on this system for potential long term problems and I get that. Is this just some old folks tale or is there any truth to this? I still see many new cars with cylinder deactivation, so I don't think it's something that causes an engine to fall apart, but I'd like to hear what the others have to say
