Has anyone put an SVCM controller in a 2022 Honda Passport? Got any tips? Should I do it or skip it?
Noooo. It's ok maybe for other people but I personally think these "upgrades" can cause some problems unless otherwise installed by Honda themselves.Has anyone put an SVCM controller in a 2022 Honda Passport? Got any tips? Should I do it or skip it?
Dropped an SVCM in my 2022 passport, it smooths out the ride, stops the VCM from messing with the engine, and super easy to install (just plug it into the OBDII port), but I noticed I lost a bit of MPG, but the peace of mind and drivability gains make up for it, I guess, at least that's what i tell myselfHas anyone put an SVCM controller in a 2022 Honda Passport? Do you know that that is going to increase your car's fuel economy? It's because the engine won't be able to deactivate the cylinders to save gas.Has anyone put an SVCM controller in a 2022 Honda Passport? Got any tips? Should I do it or skip it?

technically, cylinder deactivation is about running on less cylinders, meaning less fule is used during cruising, but it can cause other problems, so it's a double edged swordDropped an SVCM in my 2022 passport, it smooths out the ride, stops the VCM from messing with the engine, and super easy to install (just plug it into the OBDII port), but I noticed I lost a bit of MPG, but the peace of mind and drivability gains make up for it, I guess, at least that's what i tell myself
