Fob battery swap messed with my mirrors

I swapped my fob battery last week and now every time I drive, I have to readjust the side mirrors up and out manually, I have already reset the driver one seat position, but has anyone else run into this after changing the battery?

Yep, you're not the only one! I had the same bug after swapping a key fob battery a few months ago, I think it's common. Even if you reset the seat, the mirrors often need a separate re-sync or the system needs a full reset.

Your best bet is to check your car's owner's manual specifically under the 'memory function' or 'key fob linking' section. There's usually a specific sequence to get everything talking to each other again. what's your car's make and model?
