i put a spare tire on my 2021 Passport and now i have warning lights for lane keep assist, road departure mitigation and the brakes.. i never seen them before so im guessing its because of the spare. will they go away when I put the regular tire back on or do I need to reset something?

Ohh, I feel like it's the TPMS sensor? That's the only reason I can think of why your Passport can't detect anymore from that part where the tire is removed. If you want, you can maybe try put the regular tire back on like you mentioned. It should work. 🌸 Maybe take it on a quick drive then it should be back to normal I suppose...

It could be that your car's confused by the different tire size. have you tried putting the regular tire back on? remember that donut spare tires are mostly for short trips

I think the lights will go away after you put back the original tire. If not, you should go to the dealer for quick diagnostics.

I think you just go ahead and do that so you'd figure out if its really the spare tire that causes that.

Could be the sensors messing up, try to reset the computer box or something see how it goes from there.

I agree with what the other commenters said, it's more likely the TPMS sensor. have you tried putting the tires back?

I think the computer's detects the difference on the tires hence the warning lights. i believe if you put the regular tire back on, the light will turn off. And nah, i don't think you need to reset anything

Once all the original tires are back on and you drive with them for a few miles everything will go back to normal, honda has the ADAS (advance driver assistant system). When adding the spare tire, you confuse the system because the spare tire is different rate. No need to worry

What happened with your warning lights? Did you or did you not keep the spare tire on? 👀
