Remote start not heating properly

We remote start the car with heat and seat warmers set to high, and after 30 minutes, it's still cold inside...warm air only blows once we start driving. If we stop or idle, it turns cold again, any ideas why?

I experienced something similar with my old SUV. It's probably due to the coolant not circulating well at idle, which means it can't heat the core properly. But once you start driving and the RPMs increase, the flow gets better, and you'll start to feel the heat. Also, be sure to check the coolant level, if it's low, that could make the issue even worse.

Yea sounds like low flow at idle might be the issue. I'll check the coolant level and maybe watch how the temp gauge behaves during warm-up

yeah, the most common reason for a heater to only work while driving is a low coolant level.
When the engine is revving, the water pump pushes the coolant through the system, but at a low idle, it might not be able to get enough hot coolant to the heater core in the cabin. Check the coolant reservoir and top it off if it's low.
