got a honda passport and i have been using a cup holder for my phone but im looking for a better spot. the cubby by the heated seat buttons is too small for my phone and the storage below with the wireless charger is too short when the phone has a USB cord attached. any suggestions?

Yeah, the storage spots in the Passport can be tricky for larger phones, especially with a charging cable. have you checked for a cup holder extender because some cup holder mounts have an adjustable that can raise the phone higher. some few people use a low profile mount inside the storage tray under the infotainment screen, that way you should be able to use the usb . also what phone do you use, because some mounts work better depending on size and weight.

Lol why a cup holder! 😭 Are you considering placing in the dash mount? Like you'll need adhesive or a suction cup but it usually comes with the phone holder you purchase. CD slot mount also if you have it?

What about the center console? It has plenty of space and you can find some small tray or holder to place your phone while charging

The cup holder is actually the OG phone holder for me lol. I been using it for years just until a few months back when I got a hold of this Scosche universal mount as a gift. But I still use the cup holder sometimes haha

I have the funds to buy a legit phone holder but I never really do and yep, cup holder is the best go to lol. But I guess its time to do an upgrade buy an actual one.

Yes, the wireless charger spot is awkward with a cable, and the cubby is tight. I would consider a ProClip dash mount or a vent mount like Offroam, which are both incredibly sturdy and clean and hold the phone firmly without interfering with your cup holders. Installing it is also simple

Not sure what kind of a phone you have, but there are cables with a 90 degree plug, meaning you can put it in a very tight spot. If that doesn't work, you can get one of those adhesive nets or whatever they're called and slap it on the side plastic and place your phone there.
